MINISTER'S MONTHLY MUSING
The month of September marks the beginning of many new things. A new term at school, college or university or maybe back to work after a summer break.
In the Methodist Church, we celebrate the start of a new Connexional Year, a time when we renew our commitment to God and to his service.
This September also sees changes in the structure of Methodism locally, as Peasedown Methodist Church which has been in the Midsomer Norton Circuit, now joins a larger circuit with churches from the Bath and Keynsham areas. This new circuit will be known as the North and East Somerset Circuit. We wonder what God has in store for us as churches and as individuals. He may ask us to step out of our comfort zones and take some risks. But that is how we move on. We will have to let go.... and let God.... and the results will be amazing!
